管理 is local and global, individual and team, traditional and innovative. Organizations must be able to respond to environmental demands and opportunities, while also enabling their employees to work together effectively.

Successful organizations create winning systems that identify, recruit and develop employees who thrive in team-oriented, 多元文化环境. The 管理 Department of 比尔·蒙迪商学院 fosters academic excellence, professional effectiveness and personal accountability in its graduates.

This is accomplished by developing a holistic view of organizations focused on social responsibility, 个人发展与诚信. Outstanding faculty help students develop the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to manage people effectively and collaboratively, 面对面或虚拟交流, in local as well as global organizations. Students strengthen critical thinking and creativity skills to use ever-expanding technological tools to meet the needs of a changing global society.

View 管理学院

服务

服务 learning is an integral part of courses such as Business 沟通, which is a required course for all business majors. 服务 projects give students the opportunity to accomplish course objectives, while also serving the needs of businesses and non-profit entities. Also, service projects are required for participation in the 领导 Living Learning 社区.

比尔·蒙迪商学院 supports the St. 爱德华的 mission to be of service to others in support of our Holy Cross heritage. 每年十月，圣. 爱德华的 University community celebrates its Holy Cross heritage with the Founder's Day 服务 Project, during which students work with multiple non-profit organizations throughout the region. 每年一月, students join members of the Austin community to volunteer at the MLK Day of 服务 at Huston-Tillotson University. 4月, 学生会 sponsors the annual BIG Event in which students, 教职员工帮助打扫卫生, 粉刷和修理房屋, 教堂, parks and schools in the community surrounding the University. St. 爱德华的 students volunteer nearly 80,000 hours of their time through service each year.
